Chelsea's Player Future Uncertain Following Timo Werner Transfer
Obviously, Chelsea have added another player to their sqaud to make them more complete next season in Premier League, and that automatically make them ahead of Manchester United, Liverpool etc.
The Blues have officially confirmed the signing of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner and the German International will join the club ahead of the 2020/21 season in July.
Meanwhile, it looks that the German 24-year-old's transfer to Stamford Bridge could possibly put an end to Tammy Abraham's voyage at Chelsea in jeopardy following an inconsistent 2019/20 campaign due to coronavirus pandemic.
Aside that, Timo Werner's versatility can make him switch role at Chelsea by playing as a winger in which he would bench Pulisic, but on the other hand, I assume Frank Lampard using Werner as a No.9 rather than a left winger.
However, I assume Tammy Abraham leaving Chelsea when his contract with the Blues expire since he hasn't pen another contract with the Club. Maybe, Chelsea plan not to extend his contract in the name of Werner's arrival.
The Englishman has scored 15 goals across all competitions for the Blues this season, but the Blues honcho had no other option than to call on Abraham due to the club's transfer ban, because no one else in the Blues squad to count on as a striker.
And as per Werner's arrival, Tammy Abraham and Chelsea would have to face a difficult time in choosing their regular No.9 next season.
Most Chelsea's fans postulate that Frank Lampard could imbibe the option of using two strikers Werner+Abraham, but the Blues cannot bench Christian Pulisic because of Werner's arrival, they would rather keep Abraham at the Club as a backup for Timo Werner.
